Many of the series lovers are expecting to see Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun back on screens as Kim Dam-ryeong a.k.a Heo Joon-jae and Se-hwa or Shim Cheong in the second season. The celebrities have also expressed their interest in joining the cast list of next instalment.
While the 35-year-old actress stated that she will work hard to greet her fans again in another work soon, her onscreen partner shared his hopes on filming another project in the near future.

However, both the cast members of The Legend Of The Blue Sea may not reprise their roles in season 2 due to several reasons. Lee Min Ho is currently preparing for his military enlistment and he may not be able to join the cast list in next Instalment. Similarly, Jun Ji Hyun is also busy with modelling for popular clothing brands, such as MICHAA.
Since Lee Joon Gi has already opened up about his interest in starring in a romantic comedy drama, and he is looking forward to an offer, he will probably portray the lead protagonist in the next installement of SBS mini-series. But the fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from the actor or the network to know more about it.
