LeEco concluded its first Super3 X55 smart TV flash sale by creating not one, but three records in categories of daily sales in 50-inch and above category, daily sales with single TV model in online channel and monthly sales in 4K TV category. While that's quite a feat, one of the biggest USP of its TVs and its smartphones is the Supertainment content membership package.
Buyers of LeEco smartphones, such as Le 1s Eco, Le 2, Le Max and Le Max2, get free and unlimited access to its wide library of entertainment content from Eros Now and YuppTV for a year, whereas Super3 TV buyers get two years of the membership for free. Until now, the duration of the membership was independent, but the company has extended its offerings by allowing users to club both the subscriptions.
If you have a LeEco smartphone and buy a Super3 X series smart TV, then you can combine the phone's one year subscription with the TV's two year subscription to enjoy a full three year package. That's a total saving of Rs. 14,700.
LeEco membership for a year costs Rs. 4,900 and it offers movies in high-definition, TV channels and more than 50 live concerts. More content is expected to be added in the coming months, as LeEco's content ecosystem is not fully released.
LeEco's product sales have created new records in the past for being one of the fastest selling online products in India. The Super3 X55 smart TV, which is the entry-level model priced at Rs. 59,790, was sold out in just three minutes on the first day of sale. According to the company, more than 1,500 units of the television were sold and 50,000 people had registered to buy the TV on Friday.
LeEco also has two other TV models, Super3 X65 and Super3 Max65 priced at Rs. 99,790 and Rs. 149,790, respectively. All three TVs have minor differences such as the screen size for the Super3 X55 is 55-inches and the Max65 model additionally offers 3D screen.
In order to boost the sales, the company also offered cashbacks, EMI options, free shipping and installation, two years of warranty and four years of panel warranty. The company, however, did not reveal how many units of the pricier Super3 X65 and Max65 were sold, which were also available on Friday.
