There is a lot going on in the smartphone industry and companies are trying to stay ahead of the trend by adopting latest ways to attract consumers. LeEco is one of many tech companies trying to woo consumers by introducing unique features in the smartphones as the competition heats up.
After making its debut in the United States, LeEco is likely pushing the limits on the smartphone front. According to the latest leak, the Chinese smartphone company is working on a new premium smartphone, which received TENAA's certification. The approval for the Le X850 smartphone gives a sneak peek at the handset's specs, and they look impressive.
As per the listing, LeEco's Le X850 is equipped with a 5.7-inch display with 2K resolution, Snapdragon 821 chipset, Adreno 530 GPU for graphics, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The handset's camera configuration is the highlight as it boasts a dual camera setup of 13 megapixels along with a highly-capable 16MP front snapper for selfies.
The leak further revealed that the Le X850 sports a 3,900mAh battery with fast charging technology and measures 7.99mm. The handset is expected to come in coffee grey and gold charm colours.
LeEco hasn't officially commented on the existence of a new smartphone, which builds uncertainty on its exact release date. As for the pricing, the handset will follow the company's disruptive nature but won't come cheap.
LeEco's most recent entry in the smartphone space was marked by Le Pro 3 and Le S3 in the U.S. The company is offering generous rebates on both phones, putting the cost of the Le S3 at $149 and Le Pro 3 at $299 after a $100 rebate. We reached out to LeEco regarding the company's plans to launch Le S3 in India, but the company is unaware of any such proceedings right now.
