LeEco, formerly known as LeTV, is not willing to reveal the release date or the name of its upcoming device, LeEco Le 2s Pro aka Le 3 Pro aka Le Pro 3, but leaks have exposed almost every detail, including specifications. It has now emerged that the device will be released soon, perhaps next week.
It is still not sure if the Chinese company will name the smartphone as LeEco Le 2S Pro, Le 3 Pro, or Le Pro 3, but it is obvious that a new handset is in the offing. Reports have now claimed that the company will release the new device on Sept. 21 in China.
It was earlier reported that LeEco would announce the LeEco Le 2s Pro on Sept. 7 but that did not happen.
According to reports, the upcoming LeEco device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, come packed with a 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM, mount a 16MP camera, and house a 5,000mAh battery.
Meanwhile, reports are also doing the rounds that the LeEco Le 2s Pro will sport a 5.5-inch HD display, feature a fingerprint scanner, and come in three variants -- one with a 32GB internal storage and a 4GB RAM, the other with a 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM, and the third one with a 128GB storage and a 6GB RAM. It is expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, a 16MP main camera, and an 8MP front-snapper.
However, LeEco is yet to confirm the details about its upcoming device.
