2:15 p.m. IST: The livestreaming session concludes. The event can also be watched on YouTube for updates on LeEco Super Vehicle and EV-related announcements. The self-driving electric car will be up on display at the Beijing Auto show on April 25. Yueting demonstrated the self-driving capability of the car with a voice command and it worked on stage.
1:57 p.m. IST: Atul Jain, COO of LeEco India, said the new products are expected to be launched in India very soon. But there is no definite date. Jain also said the company plans to launch its first Super TV in India by June or July.
1:53 p.m. IST: LeEco is talking about its smart electric vehicle and its partnership with Faraday and Aston Martin. So far, LeEco has launched two new Super TVs and three Le Superphones, Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2. We will be sharing specifications and price details of the smartphones in a separate article.

1:22 p.m. IST: Le Max 2 has an improved fingerprint sensor, the world's first ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It can authenticate the registered fingerprint even if there is moisture on the finger.
1:17p.m. IST: Le Max 2 packs USB Type-C port, 5.7-inch 2K Super retina display with 515ppi, which is a boon for the VR industry. The Le Max 2 also gets the bezel-less treatment. Yueting compares the Le Max 2 with Apple iPhone 6s Plus, saying the LeEco handset is lighter and slimmer. Le Max 2 features a 21MP primary camera with OIS, PDAF and boasts a massive improvement from last year's Le Max.
1:15 p.m. IST: Le Max 2, the final product to be launched on Wednesday, is powered by a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 6GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
1:10 p.m. IST: Yueting demonstrates the extremely-fast fingerprint scanner in the Le 2 and shows off its premium design with ultra slim bezels. Also, Le 2 is the first device to sport LeEco's latest branding logo and not the Letv branding at the back.

1:04 p.m. IST: Le 2 Pro packs 4GB RAM to compete against the top contenders on the hardware front. Yueting says the rear camera is 21MP SONY IMX230 ultra-big image sensor, same as the existing Le Max. Yueting compares the Le 2 Pro to Apple, which uses 12MP sensors.

LeEco kick-started an event in Beijing, China, on Wednesday, in the presence of nearly 9,000 guests, including media and fans. The company will unveil its first internet-connected smart electric vehicle. The event is being live-streamed globally, including India, Russia, Hong Kong and the U.S.
LeEco is running the hashtag #YourWorldConnected for the event, which is themed "Your World. Connected."
