South Korean actor Lee Min-ho's appearance in China was no ordinary occasion. Fans rushed to see the star when he visited the country as part of a promotional activity for his upcoming movie, "Bounty Hunters."
When Lee visited several malls along with director Shin Terra, the organisers had to close the door and send several fans away as the mall reached it's full capacity. In a set of pictured released on Soompi, fans of the "Boys over Flowers" star are seen huddled at various levels in the mall.
The outlet reported that Suzy Bae's boyfriend spoke to fans about "Bounty Hunters" and even engaged in some fun activities. As much as fans were delighted to see their idol, so was he when he was given a huge cake in honour of his 29th birthday.
The actor, no doubt humbled by the love and appreciation received from fans, thanked them profusely.
Earlier, the "Gangnam Blues" star's fans took part in several philanthropic activities to celebrate Lee's birthday on Wednesday, June 22. These efforts by fans came at a time when rumours about his break up with Suzy Bae surfaced on the Internet.
Fans in Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Mexico and Chile donated school supplies, helped UNICEF vaccinate children against polio, and even volunteered at facilities for differently abled people.
Lee spent few days in China to promote his upcoming film. According to several outlets, the film's cast and crew held a special preview in Beijing on Wednesday, June 22 and travelled to Xi'an and Fuzhou provinces on June 23 and 24 as part of promotions for "Bounty Hunters."
