Sony Xperia Z4 has been on the wishlist of many people, but the 2015 flagship missed several potential launch dates. However, the final release will take place later this year and all eyes are set on the big launch. Sony is tightlipped on the unannounced smartphone, but recent leaks are killing the suspense. If the previous images of the Xperia Z4 weren't enough, a new leak shows the handset's front side, which reiterates what we have seen before.
The newly-leaked image shared by MobileLeaks shows Xperia Z4's front side adorned with larger front-facing speakers. The only other change spotted in the new leak, compared to the old ones, is the black coloured model. As seen before, most details are same as the current flagship, Xperia Z3 smartphone. Besides this, there's nothing much to go on with the leaked image, but the details of the Xperia Z4 are already out, albeit unofficial.
According to a Phone Arena report, the Xperia Z4 is expected to arrive in two variants: one with Full HD 1080p display and the other with Quad HD screen. Both versions will sport similar screen sizes, measuring 5.2 inches diagonally. As usual, Sony will go big on the camera side with a 20.7 megapixel rear facing camera with flash and a 5MP front snapper. If the rumours are true, the new Xperia smartphone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB built-in storage.
Sony will not ditch its OmniBalance design cue in the latest-gen smartphone and it will pack water and dust resistance rating along with a non-removable battery. The Xperia Z4 is also expected to run the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.
Other than the flagship release, Sony is said to launch variants including Xperia Z4 Compact and Xperia Z4 Ultra at the same time as the Xperia Z4.
