Maruti 's S-Cross is scheduled to launch in India on 5 August and ahead of its launch, the S-Cross has been spotted yet again, this time in a leaked brochure, giving auto lovers in the country a pretty clear picture of the features and specifications of the crossover.
Maruti Suzuki, which unveiled its first crossover S-Cross sometimes ago, has kept its specifications and features under wraps.
The latest leaks come from the motor buffs at Indian Hoods and the leaked brochures confirm that the engine line-up of S-Cross will include two diesel engine options -- 200 DDiS 1.3-litre diesel motor that can churn out 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque and 320 DDiS 1.6-litre diesel that is tuned to pump out 118bhp and 320Nm of torque. While the DDiS 200 engine will come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox with an ARAI certified mileage figure of 23.65 kmpl, the latter will get 6-speed manual transmission and is tuned to deliver a fuel efficiency of 22.70 kmpl.
To be offered in five exterior body colours-Urban Blue, Caffeine Brown, Granite Grey, Premium Silver and Pearl Arctic White, Maruti S-Cross will be available in five trims -- Sigma, Sigma (O), Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
The brochures also detail the features of the each trim. According to the brochures, Mauti S-Cross will boast features like four power windows, tilt adjustable power steering, electrically adjustable ORVMs, TFTmulti-information display and ABS.
Maruti S-Cross, which will take on the likes of Renault Duster, and Ford EcoSport, is speculated to get a price tag in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 11 lakh.
