LeEco concluded its second flash sale for affordable Le 1s on Tuesday and received 95,000 orders for the Le 1s in 20 seconds. The Chinese electronics manufacturer said it is still calculating the total number of sold units, which is different from the orders received.
LeEco boasts it has broken records again with the second flash sale for the Le 1s in India. The company said on Twitter on Tuesday that it received more than 10.3 lakh registrations for its second flash sale, surpassing its own record of 6.05 lakh registrations for the first sale. The first flash sale last week was concluded in just 2 seconds after the company sold 70,000 units of the Le 1s and ran out of stock.
While celebrating the success of its second flash sale, LeEco is probably preparing for the upcoming sale on 16 February on Flipkart. A company representative told International Business Times that LeEco is extremely busy gathering enough stock for its weekly flash sales to fulfil the overwhelming demand of the Le 1s. Registrations remain mandatory, so interested buyers must register for the sale in advance.
LeEco launched the Le 1s smartphone in India last month in a bid to compete with handsets like Lenovo K4 Note and Huawei Honor 5X. The Le 1s offers premium features such as metal body, fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port, all at the cost of Rs 10,999, which is lower than that of the devices its competitors offer.
We reviewed the product to find out it is a bundle of performance and great looks. While some improvements can be made to the call voice quality and battery, it is overall a worthy buy.
