Le 1s Eco flash sale 1.0 to go live on May 12; 1 lakh units up for grabs on Flipkart

Chinese smartphone maker LeEco unveiled the new Le 1S Eco on May 3. Now, the feature-rich mid-range phone will go on sale later May 12.

LeEco's e-commerce partner Flipkart will host the first ever Le 1s Eco flash sale at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The company has confirmed there will be around 1 lakh units up for grabs this afternoon.

As part of promotional campaign, LeEco is offering one year media content subscription worth Rs. 4,900 for free with Le 1s Eco. Buyers with HDFC credit/debit card can avail additional 10 percent off on the phone.

Furthermore, LeEco is also offering an one-tine only Rs. 900 discount on the phone as well. From the next flash sale onwards, it will cost Rs. 10,899.

For those unaware, LeEco features a 5.5-inch full HD display, Android Lollipop OS, MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, fingerprint sensor, 13MP primary camera, 5MP front snapper and a 3,000mAh battery.

The company has promised to release a new Over-The-Air (OTA) update later this month to bring support for 10 Indian languages -- Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. It will also bring support for 5TB cloud storage.

"LeEco's unique content ecosystem brings alive the company's partnerships with Eros Now and YuppTV, through its platforms - Levidi and LIVE. The third premium content under LeEco Membership Program will be LeMusic that will allow members to listen to their favorite songs from over a wide range of 3.5+ million songs," the company said in a statement.
