Home-grown smartphone maker Lava unveiled a new budget handset dubbed Iris X1 Selfie in India.
As the name suggests, its USP is the front camera. The Lava X1 Selfie boasts of a 5mp camera with LED flash that enables users to get good quality selfie photos under low-light conditions.
To further enrich user experience, the company has incorporated a photo editing app – 'Beauty-fi'. It comes with tools such as Eye-enlargement, Eye lashes color, Teeth whitening, Skin smoothening, Skin whitening, Face boundary slimming, Skin Coloring and Make-up between eyes & eyebrows.
The new Lava phone also features an equally superior camera 8mp on the rear capable of recording full HD video.
Other stipulated features include a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 1.3GHx quad-core SoC (System on Chip), 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and 2000 mAh battery, which is capable of running the phone for close to 155 hours.
Lava Iris X1 Selfie India release and price details:
The company has reportedly confirmed that the new Iris X1 Selfie will hit both online and brick-and-mortar stores across India next week for ₹6,777.
Competition:
The new Lava Iris X1 Selfie will be up against the popular Xiaomi Redmi 2, the second generation Moto E (3G & 4G), YU Yuphoria and others.
