Indigenous smartphone-maker Lava International Ltd launched a new tablet dubbed the IvoryS 4G in India on Saturday.
Lava's new budget tablet sports a 7.0-inch HD LCD screen and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 3,000mAh battery, which can support close to eight hours of talk time.
It houses a 5MP primary camera with LED flash, autofocus and full-HD video recording ability, and a 3.2MP snapper on the front.
The IvoryS 4G also features dual-SIM slots with voice-calling ability and other connectivity features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The company confirmed that the new Lava IvoryS 4G has been made available at all multi-brand retail outlets in India. Prospective consumers will have two colour combinations to choose from: blue with black and white with silver.
