Lava Iris 350M Low-cost Android Smartphone Released in India; Iris 402e to Hit Stores Soon

Domestic smartphone maker, Lava has released a budget Android handset dubbed as Iris 350M via online store in India.

The new Lava Iris 350M sports a 3.5-inch HVGA (480 x 320) screen and ships with 1.0GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card) and a 1,200 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Priced just under the ₹3,350, the Lava phone boasts of 2.0-megapixel primary camera, VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera on the front. As of now, it is has been made available at online store Home Shop 18.

Besides, Iris 350 M, Lava is also slated to release another entry-level smartphone, Iris 402e on the lines of rival Micromax Unite series. The former boasts 10 Indian dialect support, while latter is compatible with 20 plus regional languages.

Specification wise, Iris 402e is similar to the Iris 350M sans the increase in size and battery capacity. It sports WVGA (800 x 480p) display and features Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 512MB storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. The phone also houses a 2.0-megapixel main camera and a 0.3-megapixel snapper on the front.

As of now, there is no word on price of the device, but listing of the new Lava Iris 402e on the company's official website, suggests that the smartphone will be released soon.
