Latest Spy Shots Confirm New Gixxer will be Called Suzuki Gixxer SF; Launch Soon [PHOTOS]

A fresh batch of spy shots of Suzuki's upcoming fully-faired Gixxer reveal that the model will be monikered Gixxer SF.

Earlier this week, rumours swirled around that the new entrant in the two wheeler market from the house of Suzuki would be christened Gixxer SLK. But now the recent spy shots of the same model confirmed that the bike will use the name SF.

Snapped by GaadiWaadi, the latest prototype of Gixxer SF appears to-be ready to take to the roads and the shipments to the dealers are expected to begin soon. While more details are certain to be confirmed soon, new spy shots clear the rumours surrounding the name of the model.

Expected to make its India debut some time in April, the new Gixxer avatar is speculated to draw power from the same 154.9 cc four-stroke single cylinder air cooled engine, which can pump out a power of 14.8 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6,000 rpm . Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology is also expected.

Although the fully -faired Gixxer SF flaunts almost a similar design and style of the current Gixxer 155, the model is distinguishable by the full front fairing and bigger windshield. Previous spy shots have shown the bike in a black and blue body paints and in the latest images, Gixxer 155 SF is seen in white and black body paints.

The Gixxer SF is likely to reach the showrooms with a price tag around ₹90,000 and the model will be taking on the likes of Yamaha FZ and Honda CBR.
