The Indian Air Force, which is the world's fourth largest Air force, celebrate their 83rd Anniversary on 8 October every year.
Large parades and air display formations of helicopters and various aircrafts will mark the celebration of Air Force Day at the Hindon Air Force station (Ghaziabad) this year, according to IANS.

Various deals have also been signed" NDTV reported.
Women form an integral part of the Air force. "We have women pilots flying transport aircrafts and helicopters. We are now planning to induct women into the fighter stream to be in sync with the global trends" Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha announced today morning at the Hindon Air force base.
