In case you didn't hear, there's a brand new Lara Croft game that's soon going to grace the mobile platform. Called Lara Croft: Relic Run, this new free-to-play 'adventure runner' for iOS and Android devices has been announced by Square Enix.
As of now, the game has already experienced a soft launch in the Netherlands; the game has been developed by Simutronics with the assistance of Crystal Dynamics.
"Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have been working with the talented team at Simutronics, who are developing the all-new Lara Croft: Relic Run," says the official page.
Relic Run is an adventure runner, although the company feels that "it's much more than that." Relic Run is said to offer a massive amount of diversity in play, allowing for seamless transitions between acrobatic-inspired running, combat, vehicles, and epic boss fights, "including but not limited to the return of the infamous T-Rex."
"Like the other games in the Lara Croft brand, Relic Run will scratch your itch for nostalgic play – big adventure, over-the-top action, and loads of collectibles coupled with fast-paced play," the Tumblr page adds.
Lara Croft: Relic Run will be made free-to-play, and the company is reportedly aiming for a global release in the coming months.
