Italian super-luxury sports car Automobili Lamborghini is getting ready to set up a new showroom in Mumbai, says a new report. The showroom is likely to open in the city soon as work on the new dealership is said to be progressing rapidly.
According to an Overdrive report, the maker of the iconic Lamborghini super-sportscars, which closed the showroom in Mumbai last year, is setting up a new showroom near Porsche showroom. The company had shut down its Mumbai Prabhadevi showroom for unknown reasons.
The new dealership in Mumbai is expected to offer the entire range of Lamborghini products. The Italy-based maker, Automobili Lamborghini, currently sells two models — the Aventador and the new Huracan — in India. At present, the company has two operational showrooms in the country in Benagluru and New Delhi. The Huracan has been priced at around Rs 2.99 crore (ex-showroom Delhi), while Aventador is priced at Rs 5.05 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The opening of the new showroom in Mumbai will give the company more visibility.
Recently, Ferrari — the iconic Italian supercar manufacturer — also opened a new showroom in Mumbai with Ferrari Dealer Navnit Motors Pvt. Ltd. The showroom of the Maranello-based marquee car maker in Mumbai is spread over 300 sq.ft.
