A day after been called a 'shaitan' (demon) by Narendra Modi, Lalu Prasad hit back on the prime minister calling him a 'demon'.
"Modi is a real 'Brahm Pishach'(super demon), if he calls me 'shaitan' for raising the voice against the RSS-BJP conspiracy. It is to end reservations for dalits and OBCs. Narendra Modi is insulting me, because I belong to a backward caste," the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav told the media, reports IANS.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at Lalu Prasad Yadav during a rally in Munger. He said "elections come and go, but Laluji should remember he got power because of the Yadav community, and now he is insulting the people of the same community by commenting on what they eat."
Lalu Prasad further said, "Narendra Modi PM banene ke layak nahi hai. Thu Thu kar raha hai sara desh" (Narendra Modi is not fit to be the PM, the entire country is spitting on him).
According to reports, a complaint to the election commission has been filed by RJD workers, over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remark against Lalu Prasad Yadav at rallies in Munger.
Modi is known to be heavily campaigning for the BJP party in various districts of Bihar, which is set for the first phase of elections in three days.
