Lakme Fashion Week 2016: Sidharth Malhotra turns showstopper for designer Kunal Rawal

Actor Sidharth Malhotra will revisit his modelling days Saturday evening at the Lakme Fashion Week. The fourth day of the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016 will see menswear designer Kunal Rawal showcasing his collections with model-turned actor Sidharth Malhotra walking the ramp.

Sidharth, who is riding high on the success of his latest movie "Kapoor and Sons," will grace the runway as the showstopper for Kunal at the Lakme Fashion Week 2016 in Mumbai.

Not many know that Sidharth started his career in the entertainment industry as a model, before entering the film industry. Sidharth has modelled for international fashion designer Roberto Cavalli and also walked the runway in various shows in Dubai, Paris, Milan and New York.

In 2014, the actor scorched the runway for Bollywood's ace designer Manish Malhotra at a fundraising event "Men for Mijwan." Sidharth walked the ramp with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and other celebrities for Manish. He looked dapper in a blue bandgala paired with a white kurta and blue Patiala.

Meanwhile on the work front, the actor's latest film "Kapoor and Sons has done really well. The film, which also stars Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt, was released March 25 and has earned more than Rs.65 crore in its box office run. Apart from "Kapoor and Sons," the actor is currently working on "Baar Baar Dekho," which also features Katrina Kaif in the female lead role.
