Kylie Jenner has become the talk of the town ever since her 17th birthday celebrations. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star had a huge pre-birthday bash thrown for her by rapper Tyga and received a Range Rover as birthday gift from her parents.
Jenner also surprised her fans with her new haircut for her birthday. She stepped into the 18th year of her life with a daring hair cut. She surprised many by shaving the back of her head.
"I shaved the back of my head for my birthday," she revealed on the blue carpet at the recent Teen Choice Awards in L.A. "I was just doing my hair today, and I was like, 'Should I trim it a little?' And I was like, 'Why don't I just shave the back of my head?' So I just did it," she told the US Weekly.
Jenner posted a photo of the back of her head in Instagram with a caption "So this happened yesterday." In the photo, she could be seen sitting on her bed flaunting her shaved head.
This is not the first time that Jenner has opted for an edgy look. She had kept a blue strike and has bleached the tips of her hair once.
It seems Jenner gets inspiration from her elder step sister Kim Kardashian to try new hair styles. Kardashian is known to wear varied hairstyles. Just after giving birth to Baby North West, Kardashian went blonde.
"I did that haircut when I was 12 years old," Kardashian said during the Teen Choice awards giving her approval to Jenner for the haricut. "I said the cool thing to do was to shave the whole underneath of your hair and then you put your hair in a ponytail and they say the shaved look."
Meanwhile, Jenner celebrated her birthday with Justin Bieber, Tyga, The Game and Chris Brown. Bieber even sang the birthday song for Jenner as she cut the cake.
After having a blast on her birthday Jenner tweeted: "Thank u to my friends for making this day so special so far. Happy birfday to me ."
Bieber also wished Jenner on her birthday by tweeting, " Happy birthday @kyliejenner ;) glad I got to spend it with u. So dope watching u grow up."
