'Kuttrame Thandanai' movie review: Live audience response

After his successful debut in "Kaaka Muttai," director Manikandan has chosen the crime thriller genre for his next movie, "Kuttrame Thandanai," which features only seven characters. The latest movie, which is extremely different from his first film, stars Vidharth, Pooja Devariya, Aishwarya Rajesh, Rahman and others. 

The film does not feature songs, and has Ilaiyaraaja's background music. The director himself has handled the cinematography while Anucharan has edited the film.

The Manikandan-directorial venture has managed to draw viewers' attention with its brilliant trailer. Cine-goers hope that the movie will live up to their expectations. 

"Kuttrame Thandanai" is about a journey of five characters. It revolves around a murder mystery, but unlike usual crime thrillers, there are no cops here to unravel the mystery. It has a slow-paced narration and has been made sans regular commercial ingredients like songs, item numbers, etc.

What happens when the protagonist finds a dead body of his neighbour, and the battle between morality and money are the crux of the story.
