South Indian actress Kushboo Sundar celebrates her 45th birthday on Tuesday, 29 September.

Kushboo, who began her career in the 1980s as a child artist, is also the recepient of Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Actress twice. 

The actress has starred opposite biggies of the industry, including Kamal Hassan, Rajnikanth, Venkatesh, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Nagarjuna, Vishnuvardhan, Ravichandran, Suresh Gopi, Sathyaraj and Prabhu, among many others.

She got married to popular actor-director Sundar C in 2000 and the couple has two daughters, Avanthika and Ananditha. She was last seen in a cameo role in Sunder directorial "Aambala", which had Vishal, Prabhu and Hansika Motwani in lead roles.

Kushboo is also active in politics and is currently the member of Indian National Congress after quitting M Karunanidhi's Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in 2014.
