Kunchacko Boban, Manju Warrier and Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer "Vettah" is one of the much-awaited projects in Malayalam, as it is the directorial venture of hit-maker Rajesh Pillai.

"Vettah is going to be one of the most thrilling suspense movies in South Indian films. It is a mind game that revolves around three people. Arunlal has scripted the movie for which Anishlal has cranked the camera," says Kunchacko Boban in a video posted on Manju's Facebook page.

Kunchacko, who had earlier worked with Rajesh in the hit movie "Traffic", says Rajesh as a director always tries to given an emotional angle to his thriller movies: "'Traffic' still remains in the mind of the audience as Rajesh gave an emotional angle to it rather than making it a fast-paced movie. I believe he has given importance to feelings and emotions in the psychological thriller 'Vettah' as well."

"I still remember the non-stop applause of the audience when Rajesh's name was seen on the screen after the movie 'Traffic'. Years later, I have got a chance to work with him again in 'Vettah' along with talented artistes Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Shaan Rahman, and others," he adds.

"Vettah" also has Vijayaraghavan, Sandhya, Deepak Parambol, Prem Prakash, Dr Rony, Kottayam Nazeer and Santhosh Keezhattoor in pivotal roles. While Manju will be seen as police commissioner Sribala, Kunchacko plays a mysterious character named Melvin in the psychological thriller. The movie marks their comeback after Rosshan Andrews' blockbuster movie "How Old Are You" (2014).

Produced by Haneef Mohammad under the banner Red Rose Creations in association with Rajesh Pillai Films, "Vettah" is scheduled to hit the theatres Feb. 26.
