Sriti Jha is slowly becoming one of the most sought after actresses in the television industry. Her portrayal of Pragya in "Kumkum Bhagya" has been appreciated and awarded widely.
At a recently-concluded Telly Awards 2015, she was honoured with the Best Actress in a Lead Role trophy. Elated and thrilled, Sriti said awards are always 'reassuring' and 'encouraging'.
She also shared the award for the Best Jodi with co-actor Shabbir Ahluwalia. Talking about him, Sriti says he is the best person to work with.
"Because Shabbir is simply the best. He is the best person to ever work with and that chemistry is highly visible on screen," Tellychakkar quoted her as saying.
Sriti, who is on top of her game at the moment, believes in working hard as that is the only key to success.
"Well one should work hard irrespective of anything. But awards are surely reassuring and encouraging (smiles). But having said that, passion and love for work is the necessity between action and cut," further elaborated.
In other news, the show is drawing closer to unmasking Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Aaliya (Shikha Singh). The upcoming episodes will see these two conspiring against Pragya.
