That Mrunal Thakur aka Bulbul of "Kumkum Bhagya" has put in her papers is no more news, but her exit from the show may grab a few eyeballs.

According to reports, on the day of just-married Bulbul and Purab's (Arjit Taneja) wedding reception the former will meet with an accident after which she will be rushed to the hospital. Aaliya's (Shikha Singh) nefarious plans to kill Pragya (Sriti Jha) will once again be thwarted.

Tellychakkar reported she will set a massive chandelier on fire and make Pragya stand below it. Aware of the dangerous schemes, Bulbul will then rush to her sister's rescue in the process injuring her face beyond recognition and later getting a plastic surgery. Kajol Srivastava, who is excited to fill in for Mrunal, will then enter the show as Bulbul.

"It was a great experience working with the team. It was twenty months' journey, which had lot of ups and downs but I enjoyed working with the entire cast and crew. I am a very selfish actor and I pay importance to performance. I was not happy the way my character was shaping up, hence I decided to quit," the web portal quoted Mrunal as saying.

Interestingly, this is not just Mrunal's problem alone. Tejaswi Prakash aka Ragini of "Swaragini" decided to quit show too because she didn't appreciate the way her character turned into a negative one. Talking about it, she said how she was promised that she would get to play positive role soon but nothing of that sort happened.
