Shikha Singh, who played the role of Aaliya on "Kumkum Bhagya," is back on the sets of the show. Shikha had quit the television series as she was apparently not happy with the way her character was shaping up after she rejoined the show post her wedding.
However, the actress' excitement was once again dampened upon returning on the sets as she had to wait for her co-actors to begin the shoot. Shikha posted a picture of hers with a dialogue sheet in hand on her Instagram page. "When u are fed up of waiting for your co actor on set #annoying #hateit #whypeopledothis #kkb #alia #lovemywork," she wrote.
Earlier, when Shikha was away from the shoot after getting married, the focus of the story was shifted to the characters Nikhil (Nikhil Arya), Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Pragya (Sriti Jha). However, even after Shikha resumed shoot, the show revolved around the trio as the track had been garnering good ratings. This apparently upset Shikha, who decided to take the exit route.
However, now that Shikha and her character Aaliya is back on "Kumkum Bhagya," it remains to be seen how the story unfolds. There were reports that Shikha's character Aaliya would return to wreak havoc in Pragya's life.
Meanwhile, in the recent episodes of "Kumkum Bhagya," Pragya approached Tanu's gynaecologist for a DNA test of Tanu's unborn child so as to find out who the father of the child is. Although the test report revealed that Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) is not the father of Tanu's baby, the latter managed to convince Abhi that he is indeed the father of her unborn child by producing a fake DNA test report.
