In "Kumkum Bhagya", Pragya (Sriti Jha) transformed herself from a demure, kind and simple bahu to a bold and beautiful lady, in order to expose Tanu's truth to Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia).
Since then, she has been ruling the lives of the entire family to an extent that it has irked them all including her love Abhi, who now hates her. But looks like Pragya will soon have to reveal her mission to Abhi.
In the last episode, Pragya deceived Abhi by making him believe that she wasn't observing a Karva Chauth fast for him, when in reality she was.
During the Karva Chauth puja, Pragya's mother accused her of disrespecting the sacred festival and slapped her hard. This made Pragya realise that her game plan has changed her completely and that she no longer wishes to continue with the mission at the cost of her family.
In the upcoming episode, Abhi, who has had enough of Pragya's bossy attitude, will claim that she doesn't deserve to be his wife. And in a fit of rage, he will ask Pragya to remove her kumkum. Abhi's harsh words will make Pragya reveal her game plan before it's too late.
It now remains to be seen if Pragya quits her mission mid-way. Will Abhi forgive Pragya for her deeds? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur, who plays the role of Bulbul has been in news for reportedly having quit the show.
There were reports that Mrunal is quitting the show due to the unending track of Abhi-Pragya. Further, Mrunal was offered the lead role in new show "Siya Ke Ram" but had to let it go when producer Balaji telefilms and the channel didn't approve of her leaving "Kumkum Bhagya". Due to this, she initially agreed to stay back, but after another reported fall out with the producers, the actress quit the show.
Surprisingly, when asked about the same, Mrunal rubbished reports of her fall out with the producer. But it's still not clear whether she has quit the show or not.
"I don't want to give any comments on this right now. Please don't quote me saying that Balaji didn't allow me. It is actually not true. So it's better not to make an issue out of this as I share a very good rapport with Balaji," Mrunal told Bollywood Life.
