"Kumkum Bhagya" is currently revolving around Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi's (Shabbir Ahluwalia) bitter-sweet relationship. While the fans are loving every bit of it, the track isn't working too well for one of the cast members.
Mrunal Thakur aka Bulbul is reportedly planning on quitting the show as her character doesn't have much to do right now.
"Initially, Mrunal had considerable importance in the show, but lately she has nothing to do. The entire track is focused on Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha). If her character gets the scope to perform, she may stay back or at least till the time they get a replacement for her," DNA quoted a source as saying.
However, since there's no way to confirm such a development, this piece of news can be just another rumour.
What's interesting is that a few days ago it was reported that she would appear in another TV show.
According to an Absolute India News report, Ashish Sharma and Mrunal have been roped in to play Ram and Sita respectively, in an upcoming mythological show -- "Siya Ke Ram".
We need to wait and watch if this is the reason behind Mrunal mulling over bowing out of "Kumkum Bhagya".
