Ekta Kapoor's much ambitious project "Kasam" has been in news after popular actor Ssharad Malhotra was roped in to play the lead.
While Ssharad and Kratika Sengar Dheer have been finalised as the lead pair, another popular actor has joined the cast of "Kasam." Television actor Zuber K Khan has been roped in to play the younger brother of Ssharad's character, Manmeet.
"He (Zuber) will be a positive character and quite a flirt. He would be the one who would lead Ssharad to find love again," a source told Telly Chakkar.
Confirming the report, Zuber said that he is quite excited to work with the talented cast. "I am really excited to work with Balaji Telefilms and of course the talented cast. We have already started shooting and I am sure that viewers would love the show," he said.
Zuber has earlier been part of popular shows like "Kumkum Bhagya" and "Sadda Haq" among others.
The show is all set to be aired March 7 onwards and has Roma Bali, Vibha Chibber, Vijay Kashyap and other popular actors in pivotal roles. The report further stated that the team is currently shooting in Panchgani, Maharashtra.
"Kasam" will reportedly see Ssharad play a casanova during the initial episodes. He will play the role of a rich Canada-return businessman who falls in love with a girl but soon loses her in a tragic incident, which changes his views on love and relationships.
