In Zee TV's "Kumkum Bhagya", Bulbul's (Mrunal Thakur) suicide has shattered Pragya (Sriti Jha). Bulbul, whose face was damaged beyond recognition while trying to save Pragya from getting killed, decided to put an end to her life.
Pragya was seen coming to terms with the fact that her sister was no more and her mother Sarla held her responsible for Bulbul's death. Even Bulbul's husband Purab was seen devastated by Bulbul's demise.
On the other hand, antagonists Aaliya (Shikha Singh) and Tanu (Leena Jumani) were pleasantly surprised with the news of Bulbul's death. Aaliya tried using this opportunity to get closer to Purab, but a broken Purab lashed out at her.
In the previous episode, Purab urged Pragya to continue with her mission to expose Aaliya and Tanu, as it was Bulbul's last wish. Encouraged by Purab's words, Pragya promised to herself she would find the person who tried to kill her and was responsible for Bulbul's death.
Pragya confronted the Mehra family and asked each member to give their fingerprints. She claimed the culprit was one of the family members.
It now remains to be seen if Bulbul is really dead, considering there were reports earlier that TV actress Kajol Srivastava will replace Mrunal and will essay Bulbul's role. It won't come as a surprise if Bulbul re-enters the show, possible with a plastic surgery drama.
