Even though "Kumkum Bhagya" lead actresses Sriti Jha (Pragya) and Leena Jumani (Tanu) can't stand each other on the show, off-reel the duo seem to share a great bond.
In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Leena, who plays a negative character in the show, revealed that she feels awful lashing out at Sriti on-screen.
"Although we fight onscreen, Sriti and I are very good friends off-screen. I feel awful doing such scenes with her," said Leena.
Talking about the response she gets from her fans, Leena said that although her fans love her as Tanu, they often request her not to harass Pragya on the show.
Leena feels that her character has been given equal importance in the show, and believes that the soap has helped her grow as an actor.
While it is known that the role of Tanu was earlier played by Madhurima Tuli, Leena has no regret not being cast as Tanu from the beginning, and believes that the show came to her at the right time.
"Whatever happens, happens for the best. When the show started, I was busy shooting for my film. Destiny plays a very important role in everyone's life," she added.
Talking about the uniqueness about playing a vamp on the show, the actress told Telly Chakkar: "The uniqueness about my role is that she is not a bitchy girl or a game planner. She always needs someone to take decisions. She is dumb, but also cute at the same time."
