Television actress Kanchi Kaul and husband Shabbir Ahluwalia, popular for his role of Abhi in "Kumkum Bhagya," are expecting their second child in February. The two are proud parents to one-and-half-year-old son, Azai.
As the couple is counting days for the arrival of their bundle of joy, Kaul's close friends from the TV industry recently surprised her with a baby shower. Actresses Anchal Kumar, Arzoo Govitrikar, Ashlesha Savant and others attended the baby shower.
"It was a wonderful surprise from my girlfriends. Yesterday we had a fun party," Kaul told Telly Chakkar. She also shared some pictures from the baby shower on her Instagram account.
Earlier, Shabbir had said in an interview that he hopes that their second child is a girl. "Though I'm busy shooting for my show 'Kumkum Bhagya', I ensure that I make time to play with my son, Azai. He waits for me to wrestle with him when I return. Till now, Kanchi has been fulfilling the responsibilities of both the father and mother. I'm hoping that our second child will be a girl," The Times of India quoted the TV actor as saying.
In other news, the makers of "Kumkum Bhagya" have decided to treat its viewers this Valentine's Day with a romantic moment between the show's lead pair, Abhi and Pragya. Abhi will surprise Pragya by taking her out on a romantic date, leaving all the problems behind.
