"Kumkum Bhagya" actor Shabbir Ahluwalia and wife Kanchi Kaul are expecting their second baby in February. The two are proud parents to one-and-half-year-old Azai and are looking forward to their upcoming bundle of joy.
"Though I'm busy shooting for my show 'Kumkum Bhagya', I ensure that I make time to play with my son, Azai. He waits for me to wrestle with him when I return. Till now, Kanchi has been fulfilling the responsibilities of both the father and mother. I'm hoping that our second child will be a girl," The Times of India quoted the TV star as saying.
Shabbir, who was once shy of talking about his first born since it's common not to talk about a to-be-born child, is pretty eased out this time.
"As the old saying goes, one should not talk about one's child till he or she is born. But this time, Kanchi and I are bindaas and are talking about it," he elaborated.
He said Azai will be a great elder brother and will fulfil the fatherly duties once the kid grows older.
In other news, his hit TV show is at an interesting juncture where Abhi (Shabbir) is trying his best to get Pragya (Sriti Jha) to reveal her secret. The past few episodes saw the two indulging in some fun and romance during which Pragya almost revealed the well-sealed truth.
