Zee TV serial "Kumkum Bhagya" that revolves around lead actors Sriti Jha (aka Pragya) and Shabbir Ahluwalia (aka Abhi) is getting exciting day by day.
But recently, fans were shocked when rumours of hunk Arjit Taneja (aka Purab) leaving the show mid-way surfaced.
However, it has now been learnt that the actor is not quitting the show. Taneja has been shooting for the popular serial continuously and has no intention of leaving the show, reports Bollywood Life.
"Actually I have no clue about this as yet I don't even know if it is true. But he has been shooting continuously for Kumkum Bhagya, and has not yet mentioned anything about doing Kaisi YehYaariyaan." a source told the daily.
Apparently, Taneja was approached to play the lead role of Manik in MTV hit show "Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan", after Parth Samthaan, who played Manik, decided to quit.
The source further states that if Arijit decides to take up "Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan", he might manage both the shows without quitting "Kumkum Bhagya".
"I don't think he is doing Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan and even if he is doing the show, Arjit won't quit Kumkum Bhagya. There is a lot of interesting plot coming up in the show and he isn't going anywhere. I will hit him if he leaves. On a serious note, if he does take it up, I don't think Balaji Telefilms will have a problem; they are very understanding and will happily let him do the other show as well." the source added.
Meanwhile, news of Samthaan of "Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan" quitting the show hasn't gone down well among his fans, who love watching him on the show. Rumours suggested the actor has decided to quit the show due to some tiff with the show makers.
