Television actor Arjit Taneja aka Purab of Kumkum Bhagya, who was in news for having quit the show, wrapped up his shoot on Thursday, September 23.
Arjit, who had been a part of the show since its inception, rose to popularity with his character. He has shared a video on his Instagram account where the team of Kumkum Bhagya is seen cheering for him. The hunk also expressed his gratitude to his fans and the team of Kumkum Bhagya for having showered immense love throughout his journey on the show.
When contacted by India Forums, Arjit said that he would miss the team including Shabir Ahluwalia aka Abhi and Sriti Jha aka Pragya, but also admitted that he was taking a risk quitting the top-rated show.
"Yes, I have already shot for the last day. I will miss the show a lot. Kumkum Bhagya is my first Balaji show, I have learnt so many things from the show. I will really miss all the things... the whole shooting routine, meeting Shabbir Bhai, Sriti Jha. Leaving the number one show is like taking a big risk. I have learnt everything on the show. I have grown as an actor and also as a person," Arjit said.
It was earlier reported that Arjit had decided to quit as his character lost the limelight over a period of time. Although Purab and Bulbul's chemistry was loved by millions, ever since Mrunal Thakur aka Bulbul quit the show, Arjit's character seemed to have lost prominence.
However, according to the latest report, the actor has apparently made an exit from the daily soap to participate in the upcoming controversial reality show Bigg Boss 10, hosted by Salman Khan.
