That "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" has taken a year-long leap is known to all. For now, Maddy (Gautam Gupta) and Koyal (Asha Negi) are living happily with their respective families. But the peace and calm will soon be disrupted.
Raj (Aly Goni), who was declared dead in a prison fire a year ago, will return, but this time as a powerful individual.
A Tellychakkar report states how one of the jail inmates helped him escape the fire, after which he went on to earn truckloads of money. To be called Awara post-leap, Raj will avenge all the wrongs done to him.
In other news, Aly and Asha are hopeful of making their off-screen rapport work. Talking to The Asian Age, the lead pair said they weren't thrilled to be replacing the existing cast, but a few changes made to the script has them excited.
"The (show) makers have changed the characters a little, and a lot of interesting things have been planned. I love the kind of relationship Raj and Koyal share: Despite going through so many ups and downs, they're madly in love with each other. The chemistry built in the show is amazing," the daily quoted Aly as saying.
Talking about Raj, Aly says he is emotional like Romi of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein". Both actors enjoy great friendship off the screen, which is why they are sure of making it work.
