Still saving for the dream premium KTM bike? Can't afford the price and forced to shelve your dreams of owning one? Then here is an opportunity, not for free but at a discounted rate. Reports suggest that the premium KTM 390 Duke bike is up for sales at jaw dropping Rs. 1.5 lakh. The price is almost a lakh cheaper than the new models.
But there is a catch. The brand new 390 Duke, which is on sale at a discounted rate, is the BS-III model that the dealerships are selling to clear their inventories. The Supreme Court of India has banned the sales and registration of BS-III models in India from April 1.
Now the question that arises then is how will this bike get its registration in the country? The KTM dealer in Boisar has it covered. The BS-III KTM 390 Duke models on discounted sale have already been registered in the dealer's name and when you buy the model, you will become the second owner. You might be the second owner of the vehicle, but getting a brand new and unused bike at a steal. That does not change.
The KTM 390 Duke comes powered by a 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine that is tuned to churn out 43bhp at 9000rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm, mated to a six speed gearbox. This is the same engine that also does duty in the new KTM 390 Duke.
This is a steal. While the dealers pocket some money for it, which otherwise would have gone unused, you will be a proud owner of a brand new KTM 390 Duke. Remember, the post on the social media platform says the deal is at KTM Boisar, Maharashtra. Still, a better deal, what do you say?
