Many passengers have felt the pinch of high bus fares whenever they had to travel from Bengaluru to Kerala.
Now, as an Onam gift to such passengers, the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has reduced bus fares on its Multi-Axle Volvo bus services from Bengaluru to Kerala.
The new fares came into effect from Sunday, 26 July.
KSRTC reduced Multi Axle VOLVO fare from midnight of 26/07/2015 onwards. This will be helpful to lot of Malayalees during ONAM festival season.

While the Bengaluru-Kozhikode fare has been reduced by Rs 50,, the reduction is Rs 100 for those travelling to Ernakulam from Bengaluru. The journey from Bengaluru to Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram via Salem will be cheaper by Rs 90.
Passengers, who have booked the tickets online in advance will receive the difference amount to their respective accounts, while those who booked it from counters can collect the difference on the date of their journey.
The introduction of the new fares has come as a big relief for Keralities who have settled in the metro city. Meanwhile, the fares of private buses from Bengaluru to Kottayam during the season will be in the range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500.
