Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, who recently impressed everyone with her performance in Kshanam, has been roped in to play a cameo role in Sai Dharam Tej's upcoming movie Winner.
Anasuya Bharadwaj says she will be sharing screen space with Sai Dharam Tej in a song of Winner, which will be shot in the second week of November. "She's going to be seen in the introduction song, alongside Sai Dharam Tej, right after another scene featuring her. She's going to don a very stylish avatar for the song," the Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
Anasuya is a popular TV anchor and she hosted several TV shows in Telugu. She presented Maa Music VJ and Sakshi news shows. She also hosted movie-related events like audio launch, opening and award shows. She was offered a cameo role in Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster movie Attarintiki Daredi, but she turned down the offer due to some reason.
The actress had also featured in a song in Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana, which was released in theatres in January 2016. But it was her killer performance in Kshanam that got her a much-needed break. Now, she says she will be the centre of attraction in the song from Winner. "This time, she's going to be the focus of the song and it will be picturised around her," the source added.
Gopichand Malineni has written the story and screenplay and has directed Winner, which is touted to be a romantic action entertainer. Sai Dharam Tej and Rakul Preet Singh are playing the lead roles, while Jagapati Babu, Mukesh Rishi, Aadhi Pinisetty and Vennela Kishore appear in the supporting cast of the film, which has S Thaman's music, Chota K Naidu's cinematography and Prawin Pudi's editing.
Its production began in March 2016 and the movie went on the floors in Hyderabad in August. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on February 24, 2017. PRO G Sriniwasa Kumar tweeted on 26 October: "Supreme hero @IamSaiDharamTej @megopichand #Winner songs to be shot in Ukraine & action part in Turkey in next month. 24th Feb 2017 release."
