The wedding of Mallika, the daughter of versatile filmmaker KS Ravikumar, and Arjun Krishnan was held at Sri Vaaru Venkatachalapathy Palace Marriage Hall on Monday, May 2, in Chennai. The grand event was attended by the who's who of the Tamil film industry.
The mariage was reportedly performed according to the Hindu customs. While the blushing bride wore a traditional Kanchipuram saree, the groom sported a silk dhoti with a white shirt.
A day earlier, the family had organised the wedding reception at the same venue. Those spotted at the reception included Kamal Haasan, director Shankar, Prabhu Deva, Samuthirakani, Sundar C, Sudeep, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Arulnithi, Karthik Subbaraju, Simhaa, Vishal Krishna, Sangeetha and her husband Krish, Sathish, Jiiva, Meena and her daughter Nainika, Vadivelu and Goundamani.
KS Ravikumar is well-known filmmaker in South India, who started his career in "Puriyaadha Pudhir." Some of his notable films are "Muthu," "Avvai Shanmugi," "Padayappa," "Thenali" and "Dasavathaaram." In his career spanning over two decades, he has worked with many big names, including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Sarath Kumar, Vijayakanth, Chiranjeevi, Sivaji Ganeshan, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Vijay, Ajith, Madhavan and Simbu.
As a result, the guest list was long for both the events and KS Ravikumar had reportedly invited all the colleagues with whom he has worked in his movies.
