The trailer of superhero flick, "Krrish 3" starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra has gone viral on internet, fetching over three million viewers in just two days post its launch.
Featuring Hrithik in triple roles - Rohit (Krrish's father), Krishna (The alter ego of Krrish) and Krrish (the superhero) - the trailer of "Krrish 3" was released on 5 August amid much fanfare.
Announcing the viewership of "Krrish 3", the official Twitter account of the movie wrote on its handle on Wednesday, "What a start to the day. 3 million YouTube views for #Krrish3Trailer. Thank you guys. We love you. :-)."
Hrithik claimed at the launch of the trailer that "Krrish 3" would compete with Hollywood movies like "Iron Man 3" and "The Avegers".
"When we saw the look of The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Superman...it was awesome...they had raised the bar... They have taken it to another level. We had to stand up and face competition," Press Trust of India quoted Hrithik as saying.
"Why not compete with them and find out what we can do," he added.
"Krrish 3" is the third instalment of science fiction film, "Koi Mil Gaya" which was followed by superhero flick, "Krrish" which hit the screens in 2006.
Apart from Hrithik and Priyanka, the movie also stars Vivek Oberoi, who will be seen playing negative role of Kaal along with his woman aide played by Kangna Ranaut.
Speaking about her role in the movie, Kangna said, "For the first time playing a negative role... I have an unconventional look. I am sexy but wicked. I enjoy being called sexy."
Meanwhile many Bollywood celebs, including Karan Johar and Anurag Basu, have lauded the trailer.
"Ok...#KRRISH3 is undoubtedly going to be a superhero of a BLOCKBUSTER!!!! this Diwali....the box office will reach unimaginable heights!!!" Karan Johar tweeted.
"#Krrish3 will certainly shatter all previous records by a huge margin. This film is sure to rule hearts... and the BO," Film critic and Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
"@iHrithik Wow!!Best Trailer ever!! it'll be tough to beat the standard set by Krrish 3," Anurag Basu tweeted.
