Bruce Jenner has been in news for all the wrong reasons, including rumours of a sex change and seeing his ex wife Kris Jenner's best friend, Ronda Kamihira, but Kris has come to her ex husband's defense by opening up on speculations surrounding his life all this while.
The 58-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star told Hoda Kotb on Today that she and Bruce are still good friends despite the separation and with he goes out with as long as he is happy.
"[doesn't] care who he goes out with. I just want him to be happy!" she told Today responding to reports of his ex husband dating her best friend, according E Online.
"I don't know who he's dating," she added. "He doesn't like check in with me and give me a play by play, but it's his life, and you just want the guy to be happy. You know, he's still the father of two of my children. We're friends."
She however said that she is happy after the split with Bruce.
"I think at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids," she said, "and I think that we decided to be grownups...We're just better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends."
Kris Jenner also rubbished rumours of Bruce's sex change reports when Hoda raised the topic.
"It's silly," she. "They've been saying that since the '70s. You'd think it'd be cooked by now, I don't know—but [that storyline] keeps continuing....They keep regurgitating the same old stuff."
It may be mentioned that Bruce was recently spotted with Ronda at an Elton John concert, sparking off speculations if they were dating. However, a source told E Online that they were not seeing each other.
"Ronda is one of Bruce's longtime best friends in the world," an insider told the website. "They are definitely not dating. Trust me, anyone suggesting that is barking up the wrong tree."
Kris and Bruce, who were married for 22 years, announced their separation on one of the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" episodes before officially separating last month. They have two daughters, Kendall and Kylie, together.
