After living separately for almost 11 months, Kris Jenner has finally filed for divorce from her estranged husband Bruce Jenner citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation.
The couple, who was married for 22 years, has no pre-nuptial agreement, but they have decided to split their properties, according to reports. Court documents obtained by Radar Online show that both of them have requested for joint physical and legal custody of their minor daughter Kylie Jenner, aged 17.
They have also requested the judge to bar the court from awarding spousal support to each other.
As for the other assets, both Bruce and Kris want to keep their own jewellery as well as assets from the date of separation.
They called it quits on their relationship on 1 June 2013, however, Kris and Bruce didn't announce the split until October last year.
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" stars said in a statement cited by the media. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
Kris and Bruce married in 1991 just one month after the "momager" to Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, divorced her first husband Robert Kardashian. Several reality shows and two children later, they went their separate ways last year, and the entire drama was telecast on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
Bruce subsequently moved out of their Calabasas home to his beach pad in Malibu, where his startling transformation has shocked fans world over. Since then the Olympian has been photographed flaunting feminine features such as long hair, manicured nails and even shaved legs.
Post the couple's split, a number of reports have also claimed that Bruce was serious about becoming a woman.
"Bruce looks back at his past fondly, but he is doing what he is doing with his facial surgeries and other changes because he is interested in his future," a source revealed to HollywoodLife. "And that future is to be as close to a woman as possible. It's embarrassing to the family, he knows that, but he has to live his life, not Kris's life anymore."
