A UAE-bound Air India plane slid off the runway at Kozhikode's Karipur International Airport in Kerala, on Monday, reports said.
A huge tragedy was averted after the plane skidded off the runway, which is under maintenance, Manorama Online reported.
All the passengers and crew members are reportedly safe. The incident took place just before the Sharjah-bound flight took off Karipur airport.
