"Mirchi" fame director Koratala Siva, who is waiting for the release of Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu", is gearing up to team up with Junior NTR for his next film.
Koratala Siva, who started his career as a script-writer, became an independent director with Prabhas' "Mirchi", which went on to become one of the blockbusters of 2013. The success of the film flooded him with several offers and he even narrated some scripts to Mahesh Babu and Junior NTR.
Junior NTR was reportedly impressed with Koratala Siva's script and he has given his consent for the film, which was expected to be the second venture of the director. But the project did not materialise due to some unknown reasons.
So Siva went ahead with Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu", which is a commercial entertainer. The director has already completed all the production works and is now busy promoting the film, which is slated to be released on 7 August. After "Baahubali", the Mahesh Babu-Shruti Haasan starrer is expected to be the next biggest Tollywood hit of 2015.
Having completed "Srimanthudu", Koratala Siva is reportedly set to start working on the pre-production of Junior NTR's next movie. Interestingly, the director has earlier written script for the actor's previous hit films like "Brindavanam" and "Oosaravelli". Besides scripting, Siva will direct Junior NTR in their third combo movie.
Junior NTR is currently busy with the shooting of director Sukumar's next venture. After wrapping it up, he is expected to take up the filming of the upcoming movie of Siva. The film will be produced by Dil Raju, who has earlier worked with the actor in his films like "Brindaavanam" (2010) and "Ramayya Vasthavayya" (2013). This will be the third combo film of the actor and the producer.
