Putting all speculations into rest, Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma and actor Ranvir Shorey on Sunday took to their twitter handle to announce their separation after five years of marriage.
The "Page 3" actress and Ranvir declared that their decision to part ways is mutual. They have decided to co-parent their only son, Haroon.
"Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you," tweeted Konkona.
Ranvir's post read, "Konkona and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you."
Last year, rumours of trouble in the couple's life started doing the rounds when they arrived for an event separately. There was also news that Konkona and Ranvir were staying separately but the latter refuted the rumours stating that they are very much together, according to a report in DNA.
Konkona (35) and Ranvir (43) had been dating for a few years before they got married in a private ceremony in 2010.
The couple has worked together in films like "Traffic Signal", "Aaja Nachle", "Mixed Doubles" and "Gour Hari Daastan."
