Rajinikanth to Play Dual Role in Shankar's Film
According to the latest buzz, Rajinikanth will be teaming up with director Shankar for his next film. Sources have stated that Shankar narrated two scripts to the superstar – "Endhiran 2" and a dual hero subject. Rajini is likley to okay the dual hero subject in which he will play the hero and villain both, reported Sify. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard. If the actor-director duo team up, it will be their second film after "Endhiran."
Rajinikanth is awaiting the release of "Lingaa," which will hit the screens on 12 December. On the other hand, Shankar is waiting for the release of his magnum opus "I." The big budget entertainer is likely to release in January 2015 as a Pongal treat for the fans.
Vijay 58 First Schedule Completed
The first schedule of Vijay starrer "Vijay 58" has been completed. The shooting of the film commenced last month with a set erected on the outskirts of ECR. A grand song featuring Vijay, Hansika, Sridevi, Sudeep and a stunt sequence were reportedly shot during the first schedule.
The second schedule of the film will commence soon. The film is expected to hit the screens around Diwali 2015.
Kajal Aggarwal to Play Female Lead in Vishal-Suseenthiran Film
Vishal, who is currently busy with the shooting of "Aambala," is all set to move on to his next project with director Suseenthiran. Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the female lead opposite Vishal for the first time in the film, reported Behindwoods.
Earlier, there were reports that Lakshmi Menon will be playing the leading lady in the untitled project. But, now Kajal's name is being associated with the film. Details about the other cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
Dhanush-Velraj's Film Title to be Revealed Soon
Dhanush is all set to team up with cinematographer-turned-director Velraj for the second time after the stupendous success of "Velai Illa Pattathari."
The film's shooting will commence in February and its title will be revealed soon. Amy Jackson of "I" fame will romance Dhanush in the film. "VIP team is getting back again.February shoot. @iamAmyJackson will be playing d female lead. Title will be revealed soon :)," tweeted Dhanush.
Anegan in Post-Production Stage
Dhanush- KV Anand's "Anegan" is currently in the post-productions stage. The film's release date is expected to be revealed soon. "ANEGAN post production in full swing. @anavenkat sir will announce the release date as soon as the work is complete. Thank you all :)," Dhanush tweeted.
"Anegan" is expected to release only in February as there are several biggies including "Lingaa," "I," and "Yennai Arindhaal" as well as a few other films lined up for release in the next two months.
