Arvind Swamy Denies Playing Villain Role in Any Film
Recently, there was buzz that Arvind Swamy will be playing one of the villain roles in Ajith-Gautham Menon film, while Arun Vijay will be appearing as the other villain.
Now, Arvind Swamy has slammed rumours saying that he is not playing villain role in any film. However, the actor has also not denied being part of "Thala 55" (tentatively titled).
A lot of nonsense being written, I am not playing the villain in any movie, so unless I put it up on twitter, don't believe these rumours.

Ajith is reportedly playing the role of an investigative officer in the film, which is expected to go on floors soon.
Deepika Padukone to Romance Vijay in Chimbu Devan Film?
Even as Vijay is busy with his current project "Kaththi," buzz surrounding the actor's next film has been doing the rounds for a while.
Vijay will reportedly team up with director Chimbu Devan for his next film, which is being called as "Vijay 58" by fans and media.
Buzz is that Deepika Padukone might play the female lead opposite Vijay in the film. If the rumours turn out to be true, it would be Deepika's second film in Tamil after "Kochadaiiyaan" in which she has been paired opposite Rajinikanth.
Earlier, there were reports that Priyanka Chopra has been approached to be Vijay's heroine in the Chimbu Devan directorial.
It is not clear as to which of these Bollywood actresses would take up the project. An official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.
The shooting of "Vijay 58" will commence after Vijay completes "Kaththi."
When Will Vikram-Shankar's "Ai" Release?
Vikram-Shankar's "Ai" has been in the making for the past couple of years. Now, the film is in the post-production work with some patch work need to be shot.
"Ai" will be a big summer release this year. The film is expected to hit the screens in the last week of May or in the first week of June, reports Behindwoods website.
The big budget entertainer is produced by Aascar Ravichandran. Amy Jackson plays the female lead, whereas music composer AR Rahman has worked on the soundtracks of the film.
"Ai" will be releasing in 16 world languages including Chinese, reported Sify. Interestingly, major portions of the film's first half have been shot in unseen locations of China.
Seven Villains in Arya's "Meagaamann"
Arya-Hansika starrer "Meagaamann" will have seven actors as villains. The names of the seven baddies include Harish, Ashutosh Rana, Maha Gandhi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Avinash, Mahadevan and Sudhanshu Pandey.
The shooting of "Meagaamann," directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is expected to be completed by June 2014.
Hansika on Breakup with Simbu
In February, Simbu officially announced his breakup with Hansika in a press statement. However, Hansika kept mum on the breakup matter and issued no clarification.
Recently, when Hansika was asked about it, she said, "STR equals No Comments ... However, to put it politely, I have nothing to say about it from my end ...," according to Behindwoods.
Post the breakup, Hansika and Simbu have been busy with their respective projects.
Hansika's "Maan Karate" is all set to hit the screens on 4 April (Friday)
