Mohanlal, Suriya, Prithviraj, Khushbu, Hansika, Tamannaah Bhatia and some other celebs from South Indian film industries have expressed shock and sadness at the fire accident in a temple in Kerala's Kollam district, which has claimed the lives of more than 100 people and injured at least 350 others.
A fireworks ceremony was reportedly held as part of the annual festival of Paravur Puttingal Devi temple near Kollam at around 3:30 a.m Sunday. The sparks, which flew from the fireworks, reportedly landed on a storehouse and caused the explosion. Hundreds of the injured have been admitted to various hospitals in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.
