A child was killed when a crude bomb exploded in Kolkata's Tala Tank area today (Monday) morning.
The deceased has been identified as 4-year-old Bhuto Molla from Tala Tank area, which is situated close to the crowded Shyambazar in Kolkata.
Molla found the bomb outside his house and picked it up to play, mistaking it for a ball, The Times of India reports.
Another crude bomb was recovered from the explosion site.

Earlier in May this year, at least 15 people were injured in a crude bomb blast on a local train in Kolkata.
In yet another incident a month later, a school staff was injured when a crude bomb exploded in the school playground in Kolkata, West Bengal's capital.
